ORANGE LINE - LAQUER OPTIMISED FOR AIRBRUSH
The ORANGE LINE was developed to guarantee superior paint performance and access to unmatched range of colours to those modellers, who do not use acrylic water based paints.
HTK-CS05.2 includes camouflage colours of US Navy planes from 1943 till 1945. The set contains the following lacquer based paints, optimised for use with airbrush:
- HTK-C001 – Dark Sea Blue – Used for top surfaces (ANA 606, semi-gloss) and after mid-1944 as overall colour (ANA 623, gloss) of USN carrier-based aircraft
- HTK-C027 - Intermediate Blue – ANA 608, used for fuselage sides and vertical stabilizer of US Navy carrier-based aircraft from January 1943 till mid-1944
- HTK-C049 – Insignia White – ANA 601 (matt) / ANA 511 (gloss), used for lower surfaces of USN carrier-based aircraft in 1942-43 period and of ASW aircraft
- HTK-C044 – Dark Gull Grey – ANA 621, used after June 1944 in ASW paint schemes I & II on topsides of US Navy aircraft operating in the Atlantic Theatre
- HTK-C048 – Light Gull Grey – ANA 620, used after June 1944 in ASW paint scheme var. I for fuselage sides of US Navy aircraft operating in the Atlantic Theatre
- HTK-C211 – Interior Green – ANA 611, standard colour of cockpit interiors of majority of US naval aviation aircraft from the period covered by this paint set
